| Cancun Vacation May 2007HomeOur trip to Cancun.
Beautiful resort, called Playacar Palace in Playa Del Carmen.
There were drinks constantly being thrust into your hand. I, of course, graciously accepted. All food and drinks were included in the original price.
At dinner.
These ancient ruins are on nine square miles of land in this city of Chichen Itza (some call it Chicken Pizza).
At the base of the tree is an iguana.
The ancient observatory.
The old hacienda.
Where the ancient ball game was played where it is still unknown whether the winners or the losers got sacrificed to the Gods.
Inside the ball court.
Apparently they had to throw the ball through the carved rock hoops on the two walls of the court.
Wall of skulls.
Looks like Xero when you wake him up.
Eric metal detecting. He found numerous items; coins, a ring.
A bride on the beach. We didn't know it, but a big storm was approaching.
